06:09 am - This is not about politcal divide, but We the People standing united.
http://trevorloudon.com/2011/10/war
Look, I don't care if you vote Democrat or Republican. I don't care if you think that Obama is the chosen anointed messiah nor do I care if you think he is the most evil and undeserving person to ever exist. I. DO. NOT. CARE. about the political leanings of anyone at the moment. We are far to divided as a country along many lines, politics being just one of them. But this is not about the line that divides us, but about the document which binds us. The link above is to give you all a quick brief on something that is being pushed through many states right now, and if it achieves it's goal then We The People, will be even more screwed when it comes to voting than we are now.
This National Popular Vote idea, strips the electoral college from the process and in turn, strips the individual states and the citizens of those states from ever getting anything opposite voted for. Yes this is only about Presidential elections now, but what next?
For the tl;dr sect the long and short of it is, the President of the United States will simple be elected by a national popular vote, regardless of ANYTHING ELSE should this NPV plan ever come to fruition.
Get in contact with your representatives, call them, email them, text them, wake them the hell up if you have to. This *must* be stopped and brought to light.
Spread the word, put the link everywhere you can, I implore anyone and everyone who reads this to do just that.
It is past time that we looked at each other as a divided people. The dream was for many people to create one nation. We are divided by race and ethnic group, by class and wealth, by political and religious lines are we divided. We should not be calling ourselves "African Americans" or "European Americans" or any thing else. We should simply be Americans, united by a love for both God and country, which in turn leads to a love for our fellow man. Let us be one people out of many.

06:17 pm - The good things God has done
Fifty years ago, in 1961 seven young couples just out collage moved to Vienna Austria to being a mission work that would one day transform Eastern Europe. Their goal was simple, to deliver the Bible in it's entirety to the people of the then Soviet Union with the Word of God given to them in their own language. The people would need no priest, no pope, no clergy to read what God's revealed will towards humanity is because they would be able to read it for themselves.
This was during the height of the Cold War. When a person crossed over that "Iron Curtain" they were asked two questions: "Do you have any guns or any Bibles?" The Soviets rightly feared the Bible and they were right to fear the Bible getting into the hands of the people. For with the Word of God open to them, the ideas of Communism would crumble.
And so it was in 1989 that the Berlin Wall came down. There was no shot fired, no war or act of aggression to bring the wall down. It came down because of changed hearts and changed minds, and now in the twenty two years since the Wall fell, the fields in Eastern Europe are beyond bountiful for harvest.
Since my congregation partnered with Eastern European Missions, the foundation of which was those seven couples, my cousin one of those original seven serves as the current president of EEM, we have seen the Bible placed in thousands of public schools in Russia and the Ukraine. Currently between the two nations there are 2 million children being taught the Bible and being taught from the Bible. The ethics, morals, and theology of the Bible are being presented to them in their own language, in their own tongue so that even the youngest and most simplest of them may read for themselves and understand.
And the demand is even greater. A large section of Hungarian speaking people also desire the Bible, as do the people in the Crimea, a predominately Muslim area of the Ukraine.
These people hunger and thirst for righteousness and they are being filled as quickly as EEM can print and ship Bibles.
And I am given pause to wonder.....why can't we do that? Why do we, a nation that was founded and brought out of tyranny and into freedom by the very Biblical principals we now as a nation throw away, seek after everything *but* God and His righteousness?

04:10 pm - My GOP ticket for the 2012 Presidental Election
Alan West and Condaliza Rice or Alan Keys.
All of sudden, all the cries of "racism" and how the Republican Party is a pack of "old white misogynist racist bigots" are GONE. Not only would we have two black American's on the ticket, but one would be a woman.
More over, Alan West is an amazing man and one to be closely watched.

To sum up, the Communist Union workers are pissed that they lost their leverage against the government to demand more money. What gets me is this:
Thumbing their noses at the unprecedented, united outpouring of protest by the working people of Wisconsin, state Senate Republicans bypassed rules and democratic process to stage a Republicans-only vote to destroy collective bargaining rights for public workers...
This latest cold-blooded backroom maneuver strikes a blow at deep-rooted American feelings about democracy and basic rights of working people.
*GASP* You mean to tell me those dirty, filthy, Republicans used the EXACT same tactic that the Democrats used to jam health care "reform" down our throats? Or how despite the many town halls, the massive TEA party rallies the will of the American People was snubbed and Washington thumbed it's nose at the common citizen.
EAT IT Commies. It's time for you and your Collectivist ways to vanish, to be bled out like the poison you are, to be burned away like gold in a fire to remove all impurities so that maybe, just maybe, our government can go back to simply defending our life, liberty, and prosperity instead of regulating it.

03:48 am - Writer's Block: Leading a horse to water
All depends on their age, around the age of 13 or so, no absolutely not.
Granted the age of accountability is different for all, but in this day and age there is no excuse for any child to not know right from wrong, what is criminal and what is not criminal. But more to the point, if someone shoots a person do you blame the gun? Or the bullet? No, you blame the shooter. And this is the same thing, if a kid goes on a rampage do not hold his parents feet to the fire, hold HIS to the fire.

Not as long as we have race bating jerks like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, the ACLU and every other group, almost always always on the Left, LIberal, Progressive side of the political isle, who cry "RACISM" at the top of their lungs every chance they get.
Black man calling a another black man Nigger=Friendship and love and brotherhood
White man doing the same=Racist bigot.
I genuinely believe that America is ready to move on away from racism, I mean hell a BLACK MAN was elected to serve in the highest office of authority on in this nation and we STLL have the left crying racism.
Anyone on the right, including blacks, criticize Obama=Racist
And while we're on the subject of blacks using the word "nigger" towards each other time, never has there been such a group of people who are so saturated with racism against their own kind. If you don't believe me just go and look at what happens to a black person who votes Republican.
